It hit me hard when my friends were being slowly plucked away from me. Made incredible friends in my final year of uni but after that amazing summer, one by one everyone was leaving, either moving cities or returning to their homes overseas. The moment of realisation came when I couldn’t message anyone to come to the bar that I worked at. No more surprise visits from anyone anymore. Sad. So here is the birth of plucked away.
